Rho
A Greek that measures how much an option’s price changes when interest rates change.
Rho is the least used Greek for most traders because interest rates move slowly. It becomes more relevant during periods of aggressive monetary policy or for very long-dated options and deep in-the-money calls.
It's the interest-rate thermometer for options — usually the least important Greek unless rates move sharply.
Real world: When central banks raise rates quickly, call options become slightly more valuable and put options slightly less valuable because of the higher cost of carrying positions. Rho matters more for long-term options and LEAPs.
💡 Rho is usually quiet — but when interest rates move fast it can surprise option traders.
