Reorg
When the blockchain temporarily reorganizes itself and some recent blocks get replaced with new ones.
Reorgs are normal but rare on big chains. They happen when two miners find blocks at almost the same time and the network picks the longer chain. Most wallets wait for confirmations to protect you.It's like the referee reviewing the last play in a football game and suddenly changing who scored the touchdown.
Real world: A short reorg on Ethereum might mean a transaction you thought was confirmed suddenly gets kicked out and has to be re-sent.
