Iron Condor
An options strategy that profits when the stock price stays inside a range — selling both calls and puts.
Iron condors are neutral strategies popular in low-volatility environments. They have defined risk and defined reward. Experienced options traders adjust or close them early if the price starts moving toward the edges.
It's betting that the price will stay quietly in the middle of the road instead of swerving left or right.
Real world: With the stock at £100 you sell a call spread above £110 and a put spread below £90. You collect premium upfront. If the stock stays between £90–£110 until expiry you keep the entire premium as profit.
💡 Iron condors are the 'calm market' strategy — they make money when nothing dramatic happens.
