Delta
A Greek that measures how much an option’s price is expected to change when the stock price moves by £1.
Delta also tells you the approximate probability that the option will expire in the money. Professional options traders watch delta closely to manage risk and build delta-neutral strategies.
It's the speedometer for how fast your option price reacts when the stock moves.
Real world: A call option with a delta of 0.65 will rise by about £0.65 if the stock rises by £1. Deep in-the-money options have deltas close to 1.0; far out-of-the-money options have deltas close to 0.
💡 Delta is the most important Greek — it shows how much your option will move when the stock moves.
